Welcome to Cambridge Used Bicycles.com the web site of Shawsheen Vintage Bicycles!
In March of 2008 Shawsheen Vintage Bicycles was formed and joined up with my old friend Vinnie, owner of Menotomy Vintage Bicycles at OldRoads.com
Together we acquired space at the Cambridge Antique Market. We have since become a great place to find a wonderful, reasonably priced, cleaned and tuned, quality used bicycle for most any need. We have English 3 speeds, City Cruisers, Single Speed Cruisers, Road, Mountain, Hybrids, etc! We are dedicated to finding and recycling quality used and yes vintage bicycles. We also often have a good collection of older bicycles and unique bikes, such as folding commuters, large frame, and promotional rides.

Cambridge Used Bicycles

Vinnie (Mr. OldRoads.com) & Ed hard at work...Find them in the Basement at Cambridge Anitque Market. Directions to Cambridge Used Bicycles.

Our first year has been a good one. Establishing our selves as the place to find good used bicycles, some of which just happen to be vintage. However, the term vintage can be a bit confusing to some, so we have renamed our business Cambridge Used Bicycles which more accurately reflects what we are all about. We will still be known on the web both as Cambridge and Shawsheen Used Bicycles for period of time yet to be determined.
So when you see or hear Cambridge Used Bicycles, it is still us! Please spread the word!

Be Current - Ride Vintage!

So what's up with the name Shawsheen?

OK, so because you are a Vintage bicycle company, does that mean they are really old? Not at all, we have a great inventory of not so old bikes also...for sure we have very cool old school bikes too! But we do have plenty that are from the 1990's and newer which come through our doors all the time.
Looking for something special? We will look for a specific type, size or brand for you! Check out our inventory below!
We have about 50 bicycles in the shop at all times to choose from with several hundred in storage. Such as 3 speed English, 10+ Speed Road, Moutain, Hybrids, Beach Cruisers, etc. And occasionally we put together single speeds using various frames with new wheels with coaster brakes rear wheels, etc. This makes for a very simple bike that can you can have fenders and a rack added to it.

WE HAVE STARTED TO LIST OUR INVENTORY! CHECK IT OUT!

All our bikes are professionally tuned and ready-to-ride unless otherwise stated.

Our Warranty

We stand behind our bikes. With in 30 days of purchase, (so please keep that receipt) if anything goes wrong we will repair it, free of charge. Tires and Tubes not included. If we can not fix the problem we will replace your bike or give you a 100% refund!

Don't forget our Student Loan Bicycle Program. OK not just students, anyone can take part in this!
With in one calendar year from purchase, with positive proof of that purchase (keep that receipt), we will buy your bicycle back at 1/2 the price you bought it for! Do the math, it's the cheapest rental in town!
This is a great program for Students, interns, or anyone else who will be here in the Boston/Cambridge area for a year or less and that needs their bicycle up to moving day. So if you do not want to deal with selling one of our bicycle you bought at the last minute, come see us.

Disclaimer time: The Bicycle has got to be in as reasonably good shape as when it was purchased. You beat on it, neglect it and leave it out for a winter, we may buy it, but only for a much reduced price!
